In recent days, the Army NCO, First Lieutenant Michele Romano, visited the 232nd Transmission Regiment of Avellino, where he was welcomed by Regimental Commander, Colonel Alberto Tognon, and Corps NCO, First Lieutenant Giorgio D'Angelo.
After a respectful homage to the War Flag, First Lieutenant Romano participated in an illustrative briefing on the organisation, mission and tasks of the regiment. During the visit, he was able to appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the personnel in training, as well as the harmony between the different categories.
Subsequently, First Lieutenant Romano went to the 185th Parachute Artillery Regiment 'Folgore'engaged in the fire drill 'Dragon 1-2024' at the Monteromano Polygon, where, welcomed by Colonel Gianluca D'Alessio and First Lieutenant Danilo Franceschini, Romano interacted with the trainees, appreciating their skills and noting with favour the esprit de corps and the responsibility of the junior unit commanders, 'junior leaders', who lead by example. Romano was very satisfied with the preparation and involvement of the young VFIs.
The Corps NCO is a valuable resource, as he or she fosters the achievement of objectives by promoting the professional development of NCOs, graduates and Volunteers. Visits such as these are essential to keep the corps spirit high and ensure that training always reaches the highest levels of effectiveness.
