The 74th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Italian Army Aviation: A Day of Recognition and Pride

The Italian Army Aviation (AVES) today celebrated the 74th anniversary of its establishmentan event that underlines the evolution and important role that this Speciality plays in modern military operations. The blue berets, the symbol of this armed force, took part in a solemn ceremony, attended by civil, military and religious authorities, together with the families of the fallen soldiers.

The day began with the laying of a wreath at the Army Aviation War Memorial, by the AVES Commander, Lieutenant General Salvatore Annigliatoand the President of theNational Army Aviation Association (ANAE)General Sergio Buono. The Deputy Commander of the Land Operations Forces, Lieutenant General Salvatore Cuociattended the ceremony along with many other prominent personalities, paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation.
In his speech, General Cuoci highlighted the daily commitment of the women and men of the AVES, emphasising how each mission, carried out with courage and determination, represents inestimable operational and human value. "Every day, you face the skies with a spirit of service, professionalism and dedication, carrying out missions of great importance"General Cuoci stated.
