A week of intensive training for the 183rd Pracadutist Regiment 'Nembo. A training session that saw the paratroopers engage in offensive tactical activities, replicating a realistic combat environment, with the aim of honing and improving their skills in a warfighting scenario.
The training activity, coordinated by a tactical group command post, was also supported by a platoon from the8th Parachute Engineer Regiment FolgoreDuring the action, they also conducted a forcing of passive obstacles, crucial elements in real combat scenarios. The collaboration between the two units allowed them to perform complex manoeuvres and effectively coordinate actions in the field.
One of the most significant aspects of this training week was the use of state-of-the-art simulation systems. Amongst these, interactive targets with knock-down silhouettes played a key role in increasing the realism of the exercises, providing soldiers with immediate feedback on their actions and enabling concrete training on combat tactics.
The training was not only limited to offensive manoeuvres, but also included a test circuit to assess and improve the paratroopers' individual skills in various critical areas including the use of radio equipment, military combat method (MCM), battlefield first aid and BLS (Basic Life Support), fire support and E-CAS (Emergency-Close Air Support) procedures, explosive device recognition and C-IED (Counter-Improvised Explosive Device) procedures.
The recent week of training for the 183rd Parachute Regiment 'Nembo' strengthened and verified the capabilities of the participating units, highlighting the importance of continuous and in-depth training, a crucial element for maintaining the high operational readiness that is a hallmark of Paratroopers and Army soldiers.
