Sudden illness, paratrooper Davide Dalla Pria dies at only 32 years of age

La Grande Famiglia della Folgore è stata colpita, ieri, da una tragica ed improvvisa notizia riguardante la scomparsa, del Paracadutista Davide Dalla Pria, effettivo all’8th Parachute Guerrilla Regiment Folgoredied of cardiac arrest. Dalla Pria, originally from Ospedaletto (Padua), was 32 years old on 4 October.

Known for his attachment to the uniform and for his strong sense of belonging to the Paratroopers' specialty, Della Pria was in Rome to conduct a refresher course. In addition to serving in the prestigious Legnago department, he was also an ANPdI Instructor, thanks to which, in 2014, he had approached parachuting at the Ferrara section.

We also learn dal sito dell’ANPdI who had been a member of his department's team in charge of restoring the Saronno Parachutists' Monument, vandalised by unknown assailants about a year ago.
