The ANPd'I National Headquarters, in a recent article, highlights a publication of absolute importance for the world of Airborne Troops and for all those who care about the history of Italian military parachuting.
In the December issue of the magazine STORIA Militare, on newsstands from December 23, the article “The evolution of the Italian troop parachute”, by Gen. C.A. CC Par. Carmelo Burgio, will be published.
This is a contribution of great historical and technical value, which rigorously addresses the evolution of the static line human parachute, a central element in the operational and identity development of Italian paratroopers. Once again, General Burgio shares his expertise with the community, gained over years of service in the Airborne Troops and through constant study and research.
Gen. Burgio's editorial contribution represents not only a high-level technical insight but also a valuable contribution to the awareness of our roots, our traditions, and the path that has led Italian paratroopers to be what they are today.
A special mention is deserved for the work of the ANPd'I, which continues to stand out for its attention, seriousness, and quality in the enhancement of the historical memory of parachuting, offering paratroopers – both active and retired – content of high cultural and historical profile.
A publication to read and preserve.
