In recent days, the Army Corps Non-Commissioned Officer, First Warrant Officer Michele Romano, visited the 232nd Signal Regiment in Avellino, where he was welcomed by the Regiment Commander, Colonel Alberto Tognon, and the Corps Non-Commissioned Officer, First Warrant Officer Giorgio D'Angelo.
After a respectful tribute to the War Flag, First Warrant Officer Romano attended an illustrative briefing on the organization, mission, and tasks of the regiment. During the visit, he was able to appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the personnel in training, as well as the camaraderie among the different categories.
Subsequently, First Warrant Officer Romano went to the 185th Paratroopers Artillery Regiment “Folgore”, engaged in the live-fire exercise "Drago 1-2024" at the Monteromano Range, where, welcomed by Colonel Gianluca D’Alessio and First Warrant Officer Danilo Franceschini, Romano interacted with the personnel in training, appreciating their skills, noting favorably the esprit de corps and the responsibility of the junior unit commanders, "so-called junior leaders", who lead by example. Romano expressed great satisfaction with the preparation and involvement of the young VFI.
The Corps Non-Commissioned Officer is a valuable resource, as he promotes the achievement of objectives through the promotion of the professional growth of Non-Commissioned Officers, Graduates, and Volunteers. Visits like these are essential to maintaining high esprit de corps and ensuring that training always reaches the highest levels of effectiveness.
