The Sandhurst Military Competition 2025, held at the United States Military Academy in West Point, saw the participation of a team of Italian officers from the Scuola Ufficiali dell'Esercito. The competition, which involved 48 teams from 16 countries, took place over a course of about 40 km and lasted 36 hours, during which participants faced physical and mental challenges. The exercises included functional fitness, weapon assembly and disassembly, shooting, night navigation, first aid, casualty evacuation, CBRN activation, and use of radio equipment. The teams were evaluated on their ability to operate under critical conditions, leadership, and topographical orientation. The Italian team, prepared with the support of special forces, stood out among the international teams, demonstrating a high level of training and preparation.
