The last farewell to General Celentano at 'Le Scotte' hospital in Siena

The body of the General Enrico Celentano, already Commander of Folgore between 1997 and 1999, who disappeared yesterday 28 April 2025 at 18:30 after the flare-up of a long illness, will be displayed at the mortuary of theLe Scotte' hospital in Siena.

It will be possible to pay homage from 12 noon today, 29 April 2025until the end of the day tomorrow, 30 April 2025.

By express will of the family, the funeral will be held in a strictly private formwith full respect for their confidentiality.

This was learnt from a Facebook post by the Retired General Sergio Fucito, historical face of the 186th Parachute Regiment Folgoredepartment that the General Celentanothen Colonel had commanded between 1992 and 1994.

Throughout his career, General Celentano embodied the values of the Folgore: discipline, courage, loyalty. His figure remains indelible in the memory of those who had the honour of serving alongside him and of the entire Baschi Amaranto family of Italy.

To him goes our thoughts, and our proud salute, standing at attention, in a formal and disciplined manner, as True Parachutists: "Blue skies, Herr General!"
