Brigadier General, paratrooper carabiniere, Gianluca Feroce visits the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Chieti

CHIETI – This morning, Brigadier General Gianluca Feroce, commander of the Legione Carabinieri “Abruzzo e Molise”, visited the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Chieti. He was welcomed at the “Chiaffredo Bergia” barracks by Colonel Cosimo Damiano Di Caro, provincial commander, along with officers and a representation of station commanders and special operational units in the area.

The meeting was also attended by some retired military personnel from the Chieti section of the National Carabinieri Association, demonstrating the bond between the active Carabinieri and those who have shared its values and mission over the years.

During the visit, General Feroce delved into the main operational dynamics of the province, discussing with unit leaders the needs of the area and service objectives. Particular attention was given to the Carabinieri's programmatic lines regarding public order and safety, focusing on different local realities and methods of presence and intervention.

The Legion commander also expressed appreciation for the daily commitment of the Chieti Carabinieri in combating crime and protecting the most vulnerable groups of the population, such as the elderly and vulnerable individuals.

«The constant presence of the Carabinieri in all 104 municipalities of the province – he emphasized – represents a fundamental presence to ensure legality and tangible closeness to citizens».

The visit concluded with a moment of greeting and thanks to the personnel, in the spirit of operational continuity and collaboration between different command levels, with the aim of further strengthening the trust relationship between institutions and local communities.
