The Commander of the Accademia Militare, Major General Stefano Messina, and the Rector of the University of Parma, Paolo Martelli, have signed a new agreement dedicated to the education of cadets at the military institute.
The agreement provides for the launch, beginning this academic year, of the single-cycle degree program in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Parma. The program will last five years.
Visit to the Department
Before the signing, General Messina visited the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences. During the meeting, the features of its teaching, research and clinical activities were presented.
The agreement expands the university programs available to Accademia Militare cadets. The curriculum will also include technical-operational military professional training.
Training, internships and applied modules
The program will be structured through coordinated and integrated methods, including training, curricular internships and specific applied modules.
At the end of the five-year program, Italian Army cadets will earn a degree in the single-cycle Veterinary Medicine degree class.
