With a modern platform and enriched by numerous dedicated sections, available to anyone wishing to explore the history, missions, units and activities of the Heroic Brigade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a modern platform and a series of dedicated sections, the site is a real hub for anyone who wants to learn about the history, missions, departments and activities of the elite unit par excellence of the Italian Army and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Folgore, wards and missions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The sections of the site dedicated to the Folgore are intended as a tribute to the rich history of the Brigade<\/a>, from the legendary Battle of El Alamein<\/a> up to the present day, spanning engagements in Lebanon<\/a>, i Sicilian Vespers<\/a>, the Somalia<\/a>, l'Afghanistan <\/a> and all missions to which the Folgore<\/a> participated. This space is dedicated not only to military history enthusiasts but also to those who wish to understand the evolution and strategic importance of the Brigade in the context of international operations. Browsing through the site, visitors can explore each department that makes up the Brigade, discovering the peculiarities, skills, stories and courage of the paratroopers through books and texts<\/a> as well as the music<\/a> inspired by their heroic deeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special Forces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A section is dedicated to Special Forces, offering an insight into the elite units operating in the most risky and complex missions, demonstrating Italian excellence in the context of special operations. For 50 years, the Folgore has dealt with special operations on behalf of the Italian Army thanks to the 9th Assault Regiment Col Moschin<\/a> and the 185TH RRAO<\/a> in recent years. The evolution of the Italian Army allowed these departments to transit, in 2014, together with the 4th Regiment Alpini Parachutists<\/a>under a single unit at Brigade level, the COMFOSE (Army Special Forces Command). We therefore felt it was our duty, also because of the context in which they operate, i.e. as highly strategic departments for the nation's interest and defence, to dedicate a section to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The uniform of others<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

'La divisa degli altri' is the space where curiosity meets admiration for other Italian military specialities. A journey through departments that, although different from us, share the same spirit of sacrifice and dedication for the Fatherland. Alpini<\/a>, Bersaglieri<\/a>, Lagunari<\/a>, Infantrymen of the Sassari<\/a> e Carristians of Brigade Ariete<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
