The Italian Army Aviation (AVES) today celebrated the 74th anniversary of its establishment<\/strong>an event that underlines the evolution and important role that this Speciality plays in modern military operations. The day began with the laying of a wreath at the Army Aviation War Memorial, by the AVES Commander, Lieutenant General Salvatore Annigliato<\/strong>and the President of theNational Army Aviation Association (ANAE)<\/a>General Sergio Buono. The Deputy Commander of the Land Operations Forces, Lieutenant General Salvatore Cuoci<\/strong>attended the ceremony along with many other prominent personalities, paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
