I think that every comment, every word of thanks and gratitude are always few compared to what the FOLGORE represented in World War II, what it represents today in asymmetrical conflicts, and what it will represent in the future, as one of the few institutions (yes I think that is the right word) that will maintain a true and sincere attachment to the flag and the homeland it represents. Thank you guys HONOUR TO YOU !

Does anyone know anything about a probable gathering of the 'Indomitable Panthers' in June 2010?

E' true: only a Parachutist knows what the word 'Parachutist' means. STRENGTH AND HONOUR. "HISTORY WILL PROVE ME' RIGHT". FOLGORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are those who think that you are exalted, those who think that you only create trouble and those who instead can accept that you are what the whole Italian army should be.....for me you will always remain the cornerstone of the tricolour......now it's a year since I was sent for a foot problem and believe me I see a lot of hard and tough..... starting from the'flag raising...... from the guard personnel, who fail to make a presentat arm done with honour to those commanders who don't have the guts to make us stand on our toes.......not to mention when singing the'anthem.....proud to have been a pillar of the Green Sorci.....196505

Military one remains for a well-defined time in life, a time that sooner or later ends. By discharge, by retirement or by end of service, it doesn't matter; Paratroopers, on the other hand, one remains one's whole life and even after death, because, I am convinced, they respect and fear us even in Hades. PESTE!!! HELL!!!

HONOURS, to all those who, faithful to the 'oath' of one day, fight all their lives for the defence of ideals of honour and patriotism, HONOURS to all those who are no longer with us, HONOURS to all those who by their example made the fiercest enemies bow their heads! HONOURS, THUNDERBOLT!

I am lucky enough to live in Pisa, so for me having the Folgore boys 'around' is normal... I still remember when the oath was taken at the stadium (I think it was 25 April): the river of amaranth berets, the perfection of the deployment and the strong emotion when the cry 'I swear it' echoed in the stadium.... You are one of the beautiful faces of Italy... Thank you guys for everything you do! Stefania

I got to know you... the others are only now getting to know you. I thank you for what you are doing for us paratroopers. You're great! Thank you again. Your Commander

As I have already read on this site, being a Paratrooper is not an experience, but a choice. A choice of life. Parachutists you are forever. For your whole life. You can change your wife, football team, religion, but the Folgore remains in your heart for the rest of your life, you take it to your grave. THUNDERBOLT UNTIL DEATH.

Thank you Gunny... this site has been (and will be) a lot of work. Both of resources in terms of time and actual money (yesterday it did 953 different IPs, but have you seen that speed???? and speed costs...). Today I spent half a day optimising the database queries. I am optimising the SEO for google by working on the actual algorithm and soon the whole site will also be translated into Spanish and English so we can spread Our Story all over the world. All this, as said, without earning a penny. Chi (s)parla non mi tocca.... In the Brigade, high above, they applauded. But the greatest applause is yours. This site is for you. FOLGORE!

I have already congratulated you several times on the site, but now I would like to congratulate you again on the excellent work you have done in updating it! Even the legendary Marshal Monti, who really knows more about paras than we do, was grateful to you. I also read the out-of-place comments of our host friend(mah) and the anti-exalted Alpine....... Let's not even comment on them.... whoever loves the flag, the nation and freedom cannot but love the paratroopers and the armed forces in general, hence YOUR WORK. They make the vile figure. ALWAYS THUNDERBOLT!!! I think it is part of a site similar to yours , and that you have seen private
