At the Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria, the handover of command of the NATO Forward Land Force Battle Group to the 132nd Tank Regiment from Cordenons took place. The event marks a new phase for the Italian contingent in Bulgaria, currently made up of soldiers from the 6th Bersaglieri Regiment from Trapani.
The handover of the baton from the 6th Regiment Bersaglieri to the 132nd Tank Regiment was sealed by the joint custody of the Cordenons Regimental Standard and the 6th Regimental War Flag, symbols of courage and dedication to the service of the country. At the end of the formal ceremony, the 6th Regiment's War Flag will return to Italy, leaving the command of the multinational Battle Group in the hands of Colonel Mariano Rocco Scandurra, commander of the 132nd Tank Regiment.

This regiment, an integral part of the 132nd Armoured Brigade 'Ariete', will assume command of the Forward Land Force Battle Group, an Italian-led NATO multinational unit deployed in Bulgaria, for the next six months.
