October 1942, El Alamein. Among the many Italian units, one in particular stood out for the iron determination with which it embodied the Italian soldier's valour and capacity for sacrifice: the Folgore Parachute Division. Santo Pelliccia was one of them. On his memories and his story are grafted those of other paratroopers present at El Alamein.
