For these operations, the units make use of the Tactical Light Multirole Vehicle (VTLM) 'Lince' and the BV 206S tracked vehicle, as well as specific equipment for movement on foot in particularly inaccessible or snowy areas.

The patrol task entrusted to the 183rd Regiment "Nembo" is part of the operational activities of KFOR Regional Command West, aimed at ensuring the stability of the area and fostering cooperation with international bodies and local authorities. These initiatives are conducted in full compliance with the principles of transparency and impartiality, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999).
